Child and Family Advocate

The Child and Family Advocate is a key position within our frontline services team. This position is grounded in social work and provides immediate and ongoing support, as well as referrals to appropriate services for children and their non-offending caregivers.

The glue that binds our multi-disciplinary team together, the Advocate oversees the coordination of agency services and proactively addresses any gaps to ensure that the needs of the child are prioritized and responded to in a timely and compassionate manner.

A consistent ally to survivors throughout their healing journey, the Advocate role eliminates the need for children and families to self-navigate through multiple agencies, an essential element of our trauma-informed and child-centric approach.
